This Document is your Identification and Tax number (NIF) as a Foreigner here in Spain. Obtained by appointment from the National Police and Tax Authorities. It is required for all official and legal processes. This number is required to purchase property, a car, motorbike or boat also to contract utilities and open a bank account which you will definitely require to pay your taxes, insurances and utilities. In Spanish this is known as a Certificate NIE.
